Plart

The museum activity deals with one of the most important collections of historical plastics in the World. The museum aims to promote and enhance this particular cultural asset recognized by the Campania Region of Regional Interest and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage as a depository of Italian design.

The Plart, located in an ancient noble palace in the center of Naples, houses the works collected by Maria Pia Incutti during her lifetime. A universe of materials and forms tell the history of plastic, from petroleum-derived to modern-day biocompatible plastics. A collection dedicated to the wonders of scientific research and applied creativity in the search for a new material: plastic.
